Modaline Launches Customizable Jeans Brand DMJ, Expanding Retail Reach
Groupe Modaline, based in Casablanca, has expanded its reach with the launch of DMJ, an online jeans brand. The company, which supplies to major fashion chains like Inditex and H&M, has ventured into its own retail project after two years of development.
DMJ, standing for 'Do My Jeans', is led by M'hamed Bouamar, who reports that the first year was dedicated to platform testing. Now, it's available in eleven markets, including Spain. The brand offers a wide variety of customizable fashion nova jeans through its platform, Domyjeans.com.
Modaline's design team, headed by a creative from Barcelona, ensures a new collection every week. The team, based in the Catalan capital, adapts to the fast-paced rhythms of major fashion nova chains. Modaline, with ten subsidiaries and 1,400 employees, is an exception in the Moroccan textile sector, known for supplying foreign groups rather than launching its own fashion nova brands.
DMJ, a diversification project by Modaline, is now available in multiple markets. With its customizable fashion nova jeans and quick design turnaround, it aims to make a mark in the competitive online fashion retail space.
