MSI Launches EV Life Series: Affordable, Feature-Packed Charging Stations
MSI, a renowned tech company, is expanding into electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The EV Life and EV Life Plus Series, now available in North America, offer advanced features and competitive pricing.
The new series introduces RFID authentication, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet connectivity for remote monitoring, and supports the OCPP 1.6J standard. With 14.4kW/60A charging, these chargers add 43-59 miles of range per hour to the average EV.
Priced starting at $449 for the EV Life and $549.99 for the EV Life Plus, these chargers come with a 24.6-foot, IP55-rated charging cable and Bluetooth connectivity for monitoring via the MSI aConnect app. They offer options for NEMA 14-50 or hardwired connections. For comparison, Tesla's 11.5kW/48A Wall Connector retails at $420.
