New occupant for a commercial property in Mainz
The office building at Große Bleiche 35/37/39 in Mainz is set for a significant change as the state of Rhineland-Pfalz has plans to expand its leased spaces in the coming months. Currently, the building, which was acquired by Deutsche Bürohaus in May 2025, houses a branch run by Commerzbank. The state has been leasing approximately 3,300 square meters from Deutsche Bürohaus for government administrative purposes, with 50% of the space still being leased to Commerzbank. The state's leased spaces, used for administrative purposes, are expected to be expanded in the coming months. However, the future use of these expanded spaces by the state of Rhineland-Pfalz has not yet been disclosed. Deutsche Bürohaus aims to create a multifunctional usage in the building, allowing for various tenants to move in. With the conclusion of the state's lease, expected in the second quarter of 2026, the approximately 7,400 square meter building will be fully occupied. No new information was provided about the exact size of the spaces that will be leased to other tenants. The handover of the building to the state is anticipated to mark a new chapter in the life of Große Bleiche 35/37/39, bringing a full occupancy to the office building.
