Recently, the Minister, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, toured multiple NASENI facilities, including the Innovation Hub, technology site at Abuja Technology Village, Troment facility, and Abuja Technology Park in Idu. During her visit, she commended NASENI’s role as a catalyst for local content development and industrial growth in Nigeria.

The partnership between the Ministry and NASENI, with the support of the Bureau of Public Procurement’s "Nigerian First" guidelines, is poised to usher in a new industrial era. This new era focuses on Nigerian craftsmanship, innovation, and pride in global competitiveness.

CEO of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, expressed appreciation for the Minister’s visit, considering it a milestone in public-private alignment. He highlighted NASENI's ability to innovate and meet market demands with the right quality at the right price. Mr. Halilu also mentioned that NASENI is delivering products that resonate with Nigerian aspirations and international standards, in areas such as energy solutions and vaccine manufacturing.

The Minister celebrated NASENI’s model of attracting investors and scaling ideas into practical solutions. She emphasized the symbolic and precedent-setting nature of her visit, stating that there is a collective responsibility to buy what is produced and produce what is used.

Ambassador Nuru Abba Rimi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, echoed these sentiments, stating that the collaboration between the Ministry and NASENI marks a new chapter in service delivery, policy execution, and national progress. He highlighted NASENI's 18 production sites nationwide and the emerging exports under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) as evidence of the partnership's success.

The visit reinforced the Federal Government's commitment to promoting Nigerian-made goods. Mr. Halilu expressed his gratitude for this commitment, stating that it provides a conducive environment for NASENI to continue its innovation and production efforts.
