Novartis Names Erich Heinzer as New German Head

Novartis has appointed Erich Heinzer as the successor to Heinrich Moisa, who is stepping down after many years of service. Moisa, who has positioned the German national organization 'optimally for the next phase of growth', has decided to leave the company. The exact starting date for Heinzer is not specified.

Heinzer, a Swiss national with over 30 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, has held various leadership positions at major pharmaceutical companies. He has served as the head of Germany business at Amgen and has also worked at GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, and Gilead across multiple countries including Germany, UK, France, the Netherlands, the US, South Africa, and Switzerland. Heinzer will now take over as the new head of the German national organization at Novartis.

Erich Heinzer brings a wealth of experience to Novartis, having led teams across various countries and companies. His appointment follows Heinrich Moisa's successful tenure, during which he prepared the organization for future growth.
