Since the beginning of 2025, 6,920 families have been granted the right to manage the capital. As of July 1, 2025, the most popular uses of the capital this year have been improving housing conditions and purchasing a vehicle. Other popular uses include opening bank deposits in a child's name, developing personal farms, and providing high-tech medical assistance and sanatorium treatment for children. Education has also been a significant area of focus, with 106 families using the capital for their child's education.
## Beneficiaries and Eligibility
Parents in Yakutia must be Russian citizens and have registration in Yakutia to be eligible for the capital. The one-time support for the birth of a fourth and subsequent child in a large family in 2025 is 433,000 rubles. The capital is now granted proactively, without applications or visiting social protection organs, based on birth records.
Since 2022, the capital has benefited 44,744 families, with 22 families using it for opening bank deposits in their child's name, 17 families for developing their personal farm, and 9 families for high-tech medical assistance and sanatorium treatment for their child.
By simplifying the mechanisms for obtaining and using the funds and expanding the list of uses, the 'Children of the Century' program in Yakutia continues to evolve, aiming to maximise its impact and contribute to a brighter future for the region's young people.
