Over 50 Entrepreneurs Gather for Clever Energy Solutions Event
Over 50 entrepreneurs gathered at the 'Practical Talk for Clever Energy Solutions in Companies', hosted by the Hettich Group in Kirchlengern. The event, organized by the 'Company Network Climate Protection', brought together local businesses to discuss sustainability and climate protection. Daniel Menke from the Hettich Group shared insights about photovoltaics, heat recovery, and a pilot project for reducing natural gas use.
Jan Hüttner, the economic developer in the Herford district, stressed the importance of smart, flexible energy solutions for maintaining long-term competitiveness and promoting a 'green' image. The event also featured presentations from Philip Kleineberg of ProElectrify, who discussed practical solutions for SMEs, such as bidirectional charging, commercial storage, and smart energy management.
Birgit Rehberg, head of district development and climate protection for the Herford district, considered the event a success due to the lively discussions and networking opportunities.
