Over 50 Entrepreneurs Gather for 'Practical Talk' on Energy Solutions

Over 50 entrepreneurs gathered at the Hettich Group in Kirchlengern for a 'Practical Talk for Clever Energy Solutions in Companies'. The event, organised by the 'Company Network Climate Protection' in the Herford district, brought together representatives from various companies to discuss sustainability and climate change.

The two leading speakers were Michael Bloss, a Member of the European Parliament for The Greens/EFA, and Dr. Tobias Rammel from RWE. They shared insights on energy solutions, joined by Daniel Menke from the Hettich Group who spoke about photovoltaics, heat recovery, and a pilot project for reducing natural gas use.

Birgit Rehberg, head of district development and climate protection, considered the event a success due to the valuable exchange and networking opportunities. Philip Kleineberg from ProElectrify showcased practical solutions for SMEs, such as bidirectional charging, commercial storage, and smart energy management. Jan Hüttner, an economic developer in the Herford district, praised the commitment and expertise of local companies in sustainability and energy efficiency.

The event provided a platform for learning and networking. Future events, planned with interesting topics, are open to ideas from companies. Interested entrepreneurs can find information about these events through the intermunicipal economic development.
