Racing legacy breathes anew with McLaren's 750S Le Mans Edition, showcasing that certain motorsport heritage remains timeless.

Celebrating McLaren's Legendary Win in Style

Some motorsport victories are destined to go down in history, and McLaren's 1995 Le Mans triumph is definately one of them. Thirty years later, the automaker is still riding the wave of that incredible achievement, and we don't blame them one bit. The new 750S Le Mans special edition, the third tribute to that historic win, is a carbon fiber beast that pays homage to racing's biggest underdog stories.

Reliving the Victorious Ride

On June 18, 1995, the #59 McLaren F1 GTR, piloted by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya, didn't just win Le Mans - they owned it. With three other F1 GTRs joining them in the top five, McLaren became the only constructor to complete motorsport's Triple Crown, with wins at Le Mans, Monaco, and Indianapolis.

Now, as McLaren prepares to return to Le Mans' top Hypercar class in 2027, this 30th anniversary celebration feels like both a glance back and a promise for the future.

More Than a Pretty Face

The MSO High Downforce Kit doesn't just make the 750S look mean - it adds real aerodynamic function. This package includes a significantly larger carbon fiber front splitter, a raised Active Rear Spoiler with integral endplates, a body-colored carbon fiber under-wing panel with gloss black louvres, a carbon fiber roof scoop, and front fender louvres. Together, these enhancements increase downforce by 10 percent over the standard 750S.

A Tribute With Heart

McLaren nails the tribute details without going overboard. The five-spoke LM wheels are direct references to the OZ Racing wheels from the original F1 GTR, while the wheel center caps feature blue and red accents, just like the race cars. The F1 Gold brake calipers with red McLaren logos are another nod to the original Brembo setup.

Two paint options pay proper homage: Le Mans Grey matches the Ueno Clinic-sponsored #59 car that took the victory, while McLaren Orange represents the brand's traditional racing color. Both look fantastic against the carbon fiber aero pieces and natural titanium exhaust finishers.

Inside the Cockpit

The interior features Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Softgrain leather, accented with either Dove Grey or McLaren Orange Alcantara. Le Mans branding appears on the headrests and floormats, while a bespoke dedication plaque commemorates the 1995 victory. For serious track enthusiasts, McLaren offers the option of carbon racing bucket seats with five-point harnesses, although US customers will likely get three-point belts due to regulations. The attention to period-correct details extends to the harness colors, which match the blue restraints used in the original GTRs.

Unaltered Power

Under all the aerodynamic enhancements lies the same potent M840T twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that powers the standard 750S. With 740 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Le Mans edition maintains the 750S's devastating 2.8-second 0-62 mph acceleration.

A Collector's Dream

The 50 Le Mans edition buyers get access to exclusive options that aren't available on regular 750S models. These include various components in Gloss Visual Carbon Fiber, a Track Brake upgrade, and an optional track record plaque that commemorates McLaren's Triple Crown achievements.

In short, the McLaren 750S Le Mans Special Edition is a tribute to McLaren's racing heritage, blending historical significance with modern performance technology. Its exclusivity, design, and powerful engine make it a dream car for any collector.

The new McLaren 750S Le Mans special edition showcases the merging of historical significance with modern performance technology in the automotive industry. The exteriors boast aerodynamic enhancements reminiscent of the original F1 GTR, such as the MSO High Downforce Kit and the LM wheels. Inside the cockpit, the interior exudes a racing atmosphere with Carbon Black Alcantara and Jet Black Softgrain leather upholstery, along with McLaren Orange or Dove Grey Alcantara accents. This special edition serves as a tribute to McLaren's Triple Crown wins, and its exclusivity makes it a desirable collector's item in the world of sports and finance.
