Record label Frontiers Music inks deal with notable rock conglomerate, Asia.

Get ready for some serious rock action! UK supergroup Asia, known for hits like Heat of the Moment and Sole Survivor, has joined forces with the bombastic Frontiers Music label. This partnership marks a new chapter for Asia, who were previously with an Italian rock label for a decade until 2015.
The new Asia lineup includes founding member Geoff Downes as well as drummer Virgil Donati, guitarist John Mitchell, and singer/bassist Harry Whitley. Geoff Downes, the songwriter and keyboardist, couldn't contain his excitement. He shared, "Frontiers Music has been a loyal supporter throughout the Asia reunion period. We are now entering an exciting new chapter in the band's 45-year history with a sequence of live albums, DVDs, and a brand new studio album scheduled for a 2026 release."
Mario de Riso, A&R and business affairs VP of Frontiers Music, echoed the sentiment. "We're thrilled to welcome back this iconic band. With this fabulous new lineup, new music from Asia can now come to fruition. It's going to be a blast!"
Asia initially formed in 1982 with John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, and Steve Howe. Their self-titled debut album was the biggest-seller in the US that year. In 2006, the founding members reformed Asia and released several new albums, with Gravitas, released in 2014, being their last studio album. Tragically, lead vocalist and songwriter John Wetton passed away in 2017.
Frontiers Music isn't just a new home for Asia. Known for working with acts like Megadeth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Skunk Anansie, and Def Leppard, the label boasts a diverse roster encompassing legendary classic rock and metal artists, as well as contemporary and emerging rock bands. In fact, Frontiers Music also represents rising acts like Inglorious V and Malvada.
