Renovation of Würzbuhl Street: A Comprehensive Project Plan

1. Project Overview

The Würzbuhl Street renovation project, located in the picturesque hamlet of Aulendorf, Munichreute, aims to revitalise the street infrastructure, enhance public amenities, and redevelop adjacent building plots. The project is set to commence in April 2025 and is estimated to be completed by October 2025.

2. Scope of Renovation Work

The renovation work will encompass several aspects, including roadway reconstruction, the installation of new sidewalks and cycle paths, utility infrastructure upgrades, and landscaping. The project will extend from the intersection to the Thaler carpentry shop.

  • Roadway Reconstruction: The old pavement and base layers will be removed, and new road foundations and layers (sub-base, base course, asphalt surface) will be installed. Improved drainage systems and stormwater management will also be implemented.
  • Sidewalk & Cycle Path: The sidewalks will be repaired and widened, and separated cycle lanes will be installed.
  • Utility Infrastructure Upgrades: The sewage and water pipes will be replaced or upgraded, while modernisation of electrical and communication cables will take place. Street lighting and traffic signals will be installed.
  • Landscaping: Tree planting, green verges, and street furniture installation will be carried out.

Four building plots will be developed as part of the project.

  • Plot Demarcation and Clearing: Surveying and preparing building plots for future development will occur, as well as the removal of obsolete structures or debris.
  • Subdivision and Infrastructure: Provision of utilities connections (water, electricity, sewage) will be made, along with road access and parking space planning within plots.

Kurt Hinder GmbH of Bad Waldsee has been chosen as the main contractor for the project. 6. Funding

The Würzbuhl Street renovation project will be completed with funds from the 2025 budget, totalling €350,000, and the remaining amount from the bid submitted by Hinder GmbH, amounting to €366,914.
