Ritholtz Wealth Management Unveils Debut of Fresh Chicago Office at Famous Salt Shed Location

Insta-Take: Ritholtz Wealth Management's freshly opened Chicago office is now vibin' in the heart of the Salt District—King of the 'burbs, baby! This ain't your run-of-the-mill bank branch; it's a creative, raw, genuine space that matches the city's soul.

Skip the generic cubicle farms, simple furniture stores, and bland coffee klatsches. RWM's Chicago abode thrives on an artsy, edgy vibe, surrounded by Goose Island Brewery and steeped in Chi-Town's pulsating music scene. Soak in the innovative and communal spirit that defines not only Chicago, but RWM too.

Josh Brown, RWM's fearless CEO, ain't holding back: "This ain't a bank branch. It's a real Chicago joint, man—creative, gritty, real. We're here to challenge the stock-standard wealth management game. We're not just a brand; we're the people's brand, and our space in this world-class city matches that."

The office, once a warehouse, was reimagined by 16 on Center, now one of Chicago's premier cultural venues. The design is a collaboration between artist and designer Laura Novy, wife of RWM Chicago regular, and the vintage industrial shop, Salvage Haus. Artwork and furniture are all locally sourced, with pieces from the legendary Herman Miller sofa to a Mies van der Rohe coffee table.

Tinkerbell ain't got nothin' on the Chicago RWM team. Anna Chaiken, Colleen Parker, Jonathan Novy, and Brian Rosen opened the Chicago office back in 2018 and have been serving the city since. The new Chicago branch boasts 13 full-timers at the moment, with plans to grow even bigger.

The two-hundred-year-old bricks, wood floors, and exposed ductwork from the warehouse days have been kept intact. RWM wants to honor the building's vintage charm and maintain that industrial feel. The new space makes for the perfect client-service hub, team-growth HQ, and community engagement spot in the Midwest.

Want more deets? RWM will connect even closer to the Chicago community on June 3rd, with a live taping of The Compound and Friends podcast featuring Kunal Kapoor, CEO of local fave, Morningstar. The live show will be a hoot-n-a-half at the Chop Shop in Wicker Park. So grab your tickets on the event landing page before they're all gone.
