Road Closure on John F. Kennedy Avenue: Alternative Routes for Buses
In the heart of Wiesbaden, a significant change is underway. Due to the closure of Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld, several bus lines will be affected, and travelers are advised to consider these changes in their travel planning and allocate additional time if necessary.
For any queries or information, the ESWE-Verkehr service telephone can be reached from Monday to Friday between 7 and 18 o'clock and on Saturdays from 8 to 15 o'clock under the number (0611) 45022450. Alternatively, timetable and fare information can be obtained via the hotline of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund, available daily around the clock under the number (069) 24248024.

Line 45 and Line 49 will be diverted during this closure. For Line 45, the buses will be diverted via Schiersteiner Straße and Berliner Straße instead of their regular route through Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld. Similarly, Line 49 will follow the same detour route.
In the direction of Raiffeisenplatz/Wolfsfeld, a detour via B455 and Washingtonstraße will be established from the "Friedenstraße" and "Südfriedhof" stops to the temporary stop "Raiffeisenplatz". In the opposite direction, both lines will run in reverse order. For Line 45, the detour from the "Südfriedhof" stop will also include Siegfriedring.
Unfortunately, the "John-F.-Kennedy-Straße" stop will not be served in both directions during the closure. An overview of all detour announcements is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de.
