Russia Launches FGIS LK: A Modern Forestry Management System

A new forestry management system, FGIS LK, launched on January 1, streamlining state services and report submissions in the sector. This modern platform aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

FGIS LK, developed by Rosleshoz, integrates data from the State Forest Register and provides real-time information on forest use, protection, conservation, reproduction, and timber accounting. It replaces the outdated LesEGAIS system, with all data seamlessly migrated.

The new system offers interactive forms for filling out applications, reducing errors and simplifying the process. Users can generate correct electronic documents in XML format free of charge within their personal accounts. Additionally, a public forest map is now operational, allowing users to check boundaries of forest districts, plots, and logging sites at any time.

FGIS LK also provides free round-the-clock technical support via a hotline at 8 800 302 13 46. Users can now fill out reports and declarations using FGIS LK, which is the sole platform for such submissions in the forestry sector.

The introduction of FGIS LK marks a significant improvement in forestry management. With its interactive forms, XML document generation, real-time data integration, and dedicated support, it promises to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the sector.
