Ratingen-Hösel Track Section Slated for Rehabilitation
Deutsche Bahn (DB) has announced plans to rehabilitate the track section at Ratingen-Hösel, due for completion by the end of the year. The project includes the renewal of tracks, switches, and parts of the overhead line, as well as the securing and improvement of 10,000 square meters of slope, which had previously slipped following heavy rain.
Additional work is being carried out along the track, covering a length of nearly 15 kilometers. DB hopes to reopen the track in time for the scheduled timetable change on December 14th.
