A Failed Auction for a Sochi Health Resort Worth 406 Million Rubles 💼🏡
Sanatorium in Sochi, Lazarev, has witnessed a lack of incoming patient applications.
Turns out, LLC "Meridian" bungled the sale of the popular health complex, the Lazarevskoe Sanatorium in Sochi 😕🌆! Four applications to participate in the auction were rejected—nothing budged the 406 million ruble asking price. The Lazarevskoe Sanatorium, a tranquil sanctuary nestled in Sochi since 1994, is no stranger to serene beaches and resort facilities.
The auctioned property included assets under pledge (worth a whopping 324.7 million rubles), unpledged property (72.7 million rubles), and equipment valued at 8 million rubles. This nifty health complex, specializing in treating nervous system, respiratory, and musculoskeletal diseases, can comfortably host 500 guests 🛌. In 2022, despite serving many, the institute registered a revenue of 67.9 million rubles yet ended the year with a financial loss of nearly 10 million 💸📉.
The institution's hemorrhaging finances led to a bankruptcy proceeding initiated by PJSC "Yug-Investbank," a significant creditor to whom the complex owes over 259 million rubles. Consequently, the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory declared the health complex bankrupt in October 2023 📜🔓, setting the course for its liquidation process 🛑.
Interestingly, "Gazprom" is also parting ways with its health resorts in Kuban 🏖️💥!
