SBA Announces 2025 National Small Business Week Winners

Luis and Amy Fuentes Ruiz, owners of Island Catering LLC in Lahaina, Hawaii, were honored with the Small Business Award for Phoenix Awards in disaster recovery. Karen Renee Paschal, President and CEO of Conco Inc. in Louisville, Ky., was named the Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year. Gina Hill, Owner/President of G.M. Hill Engineering Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla., was recognized as the 8(a) Graduate of the Year. Glenn Sweatt, Vice President, Contracts and Compliance at Environmental Chemical Corporation in Burlingame, Calif., won the Dwight D. Eisenhower Award for Excellence in Construction. The winners for the 'Exporter of the Year' and 'Small Business Investment Company of the Year - Established Manager' awards were not disclosed in the search results.
