This thrilling event promises a day filled with horsepower, music, and entertainment that will captivate both petrolheads and casual spectators alike.

From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, the streets of downtown Pontiac will come alive with the roar of engines as Roadkill Nights returns for another year. The event will span a significant area, bordering Woodward Avenue, the historic stretch that has witnessed countless automotive milestones.

The public debut of new Dodge vehicles will be a highlight of the day, with the next-generation Dodge Charger muscle cars taking centre stage. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Dodge Thrill and Drift Rides, getting a taste of the raw power and excitement these iconic vehicles offer.

Roadkill Nights will feature a variety of attractions, including the Ram 1500 NASCAR concept truck display, the Raminator Monster Truck, and the Bucking HEMI Experience. Street-legal drag racing on Woodward Avenue with NHRA stars Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett performing burnouts in 12,000-horsepower Dodge drag cars promises to be a spectacle not to be missed.

Music and entertainment will keep the atmosphere lively, with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, a Mopar fan and blues rock guitarist, scheduled to perform the national anthem. A huge car show, a midway with vendors selling car parts, accessories, and t-shirts, and a variety of food and drink stalls will ensure there's something for everyone.

Children 12 and under will receive free admission, and employees presenting a Stellantis ID badge at the gate will also receive free admission, along with free admission for up to one guest. Ticket packages for Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge are available at hotrod.com/roadkillnights, with tickets starting at $25 for general admission. Roadkill Nights, an event celebrating horsepower, was initially an offshoot of the Woodward Dream Cruise. With over 40,000 classic vehicles and 1 million spectators, the Dream Cruise remains a significant event in the automotive calendar. Roadkill Nights has been moved to avoid conflict with the Dream Cruise and to accommodate its growing popularity.

Mary Conway, a professional automotive journalist who covered the Detroit Three for more than twenty years for the ABC affiliate in Detroit, will be covering the event. If you have any car news tips for future stories, feel free to reach out to her at @MaryConwayMedia.

Dodge's commitment to performance vehicles, including their upcoming electrified muscle cars, is evident in the lineup for Roadkill Nights. The SIXPACK-fueled Charger, expected to be a big seller, has already been spotted in the Detroit area.
