Lower Saxony, Germany - A significant investment of approximately 6.4 billion euros is set to modernize and expand several Bundeswehr bases across the region, according to a list of planned construction projects by the Federal Office for Infrastructure, Environmental Protection, and Services (IUD).
The largest investment, amounting to 532 million euros, will be directed towards Munster in the Lüneburg Heath, known for its role in land warfare and military administration.
