New South-East Police Station to Open in Dortmund
Dortmund, Germany - The city is set to welcome a new South-East Police Station, which will combine the existing station areas of Aplerbeck and Asseln. The new station, located at a central location with good accessibility for citizens, will be built on a 1,896 square meter plot at the corner of Bischofstor / Marsbruchstraße.
The new building will span two floors, offering approximately 870 square meters of rental space. It will include a garage and 26 parking spaces, providing ample facilities for both the uniformed and civilian forces who will be working there.
The lease agreement for the new station was signed on July 21, 2025, by Eckhard Witthake, Managing Director of 76. Ibbenbüren Immobilien Vermietungs- und Verpachtungsgesellschaft mbH. The new station is expected to create an optimal working environment for its employees, as established in the lease agreement.
The construction of the new station will adhere to the latest security standards and will be built barrier-free, ensuring accessibility for all. Police President Gregor Lange expressed confidence that the ambitious construction schedule can be met, with the station set to be completed by September 2027.

With continuous presence, they maintain high control and sanction pressure through low-threshold intervention. The responsible district service officers will continue to be present in city districts and available for citizen concerns.
The dates of their regular presence will be published on the Dortmund Police website and social media channels, ensuring that citizens are kept informed about the station's activities.
