Rethinking Neuss: With the ongoing discourse centered around housing affordability and growth, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss exemplifies progressive action in the development of budget-friendly housing within the district. One key player in this venture is the Service and Coordination Company for Affordable and Social Housing Rhein-Kreis Neuss GmbH, partnering with Ten Brinke on a major project of notable significance – the redevelopment of the former Etex factory site on Berghäuschensweg in Neuss. This ambitious project aims to bring about 500 residential units to the city.

Roughly 300 of these residential units, complete with 300 parking spaces in a community garage, are being spearheaded by the Service and Coordination Company of the district. Acquiring a plot spanning around 12,000 sqm from the old industrial area, they look to create around 30,000 sqm of residential space. Ten Brinke has agreed to this plan, also acquiring a whopping 56,000 sqm from the previous owner Etex – 12,000 sqm of which will be allocated for the residential construction project of the Service and Coordination Company.

The mission of the Service and Coordination Company is no secret – working on behalf of municipalities and the district to create affordable housing options, while handling housing management. Pyramis Immobilien GmbH, the company's strategic partner, is accountable for managing the Service and Coordination Company.

This year, the Service and Coordination Company has completed its initial projects in Rommerskirchen-Deelen and Grevenbroich, and initiatives have been launched in Jüchen, Kaarst, and Korschenbroich according to the latest announcements.
