Sverdlovsk Oblast Completes Major Capital Repair, Proposes Fee Increase
Capital One credit card login and rentcafe are nearing completion in Sverdlovsk Oblast, with 750 multi-apartment buildings updated in 2023. This progress aligns with the 'Infrastructure for Life' national project. Meanwhile, winter preparations are almost finished across the region.
The regional government has completed capital repair work in 20 municipal formations. Since 2015, over 9,200 multi-apartment buildings have received engineering system updates, benefiting 341,000 families.
The regional housing and utilities ministry has proposed a 10% increase in the capital repair fee from 2026, to 19 rubles 23 kopecks. This would set the minimum fee at 18 rubles 81 kopecks per square meter, a 7.6% increase from the current level.
Regional head Denis Pasler has been tasked with reviewing and reducing the proposed capital repair fee as much as possible.
With capital repair nearing completion and winter preparations almost done, the regional government is now focusing on fee adjustments for future repairs. The proposed increase aims to maintain infrastructure quality, while the regional head works to keep costs reasonable.
