Sverdlovsk Oblast Makes Waves in Belarus with New Partnerships at INNOPROM

Sverdlovsk Oblast is making news in Belarus, with a joint venture with BelAZ and a significant presence at the International Industrial Exhibition 'INNOPROM. Belarus' in Minsk. Led by Governor Denis Pasler, a delegation of 27 Ural enterprises is showcasing their products and forging new partnerships.

Last year, Sverdlovsk Oblast received a boost with 59 BelAZ dump trucks, followed by another 20 this year. A BelAZ service center has also been established in the region. Visitors to the exhibition are exploring products from local enterprises like 'Prosoft-Systems', 'Kiberstal', and the Ural Plant of Rubber Technical Products.

The Oblast's General Director discussed cooperation in special economic zones and technopark creation with Belarusian colleagues. Companies like Uralchem and UGMK are presenting new Belarusian partners at the exhibition, with the Middle Urals eager to build new cooperative chains. Some companies at the Sverdlovsk Oblast stand are purely for image purposes, while others are actively establishing business contacts. Notably, the Perm-based 'Cyberstal' has successfully cooperated with three Belarusian enterprises since 2025, supplying around 200 tons of seamless pipes. The Ural residents are actively participating in the exhibition's business program, with over 20 thematic sessions.

The Sverdlovsk Oblast delegation's visit to 'INNOPROM. Belarus' has yielded significant results, with new partnerships and cooperative chains in the pipeline. The region's interest in further collaboration with Belarus is evident, with plans for cooperation in special economic zones and technopark creation. The exhibition has provided a platform for Ural enterprises to showcase their products and establish meaningful business contacts.
