Three businesspeople dwelling in the Rostov area clinched the top spots in the countrywide Sber competition.

In Moscow, entrepreneurs were recognized for their exceptional small businesses at the annual Sber "Favorite Small Business" awards. One million rubles each were given to 100 federal-stage winners to aid in business development, while the 10 Grand Prix winners also received certificates for a vacation at the all-season resort "Manzherok" in the Altai Republic.

Three entrepreneurs from the Rostov region were among the winners: Victoria Lukomskaya ("Three Nuts"), Tatyana Romanenko (Beauty Salon "BE SLIM"), and Yuriy Khimichev (head of a peasant farm).

Tatyana Romanenko, director of Beauty Salon "BE SLIM," expressed her gratitude for the recognition, saying, "This victory is an important acknowledgment for us. When starting a business, support like this is invigorating, providing the necessary drive to progress and believe in success." She plans to use the funds to expand services and train her staff, aiming to increase the number of satisfied customers.

The prize was awarded in ten categories: "Beauty Industry," "HoReCa," "Marketplace Trading," "Retail Trade (non-food)," "Retail Trade (food)," "Food Industry," "Manufacturing," "Hospitality and Tourism," "Agriculture and Animal Husbandry," and "Sports, Education, and Development." Entries came from entrepreneurs across the country who were either Sber clients or had recently opened an account with the bank. Over 31,000 applications were submitted, with 1,100 winners chosen at the regional level first before the 100 best projects were selected at the federal stage based on client and expert evaluations. The organizers analyzed reviews in open sources and surveyed over 7,000 consumers.

Konstantin Bügrium, Head of Sber's Rostov Branch, emphasized the importance of small and medium-sized businesses, stating, "Entrepreneurs are the backbone of the economy, creating new opportunities, jobs, and innovative solutions. We are honored to support these businesses, helping them grow, digitize, and expand into new markets."
