His achievements so far have been remarkable, and his quick adaptation to pavement racing is impressive."
In his 2024 foray, Day competed in three ARCA Menards Series races, notching a best finish of fourth. He also dabbled in the Truck Series, with a notable top ten finish and a best result of 16th at Homestead.
Day expressed his gratitude and eagerness over this opportunity, referring to it as a 'dream scenario.' He said, "I am thankful to Mr. Hendrick and everyone at Hendrick Motorsports and Hendrick Automotive Group for offering me this platform to grow and compete at this level. There's still a lot to learn on pavement, but having their support instills immense confidence in me. I'm eager to work hard and absorb as much knowledge as I can, making this an exciting year for me."
This move is a strategic step for Hendrick Motorsports, aiming to strengthen its presence in the coming years. Meanwhile, Rajah Caruth, a driver sponsored by HendrickCars.com, is set to return to Spire Motorsports in 2025 after clinching his first win in 2024.
