Unregistered Labor Relations Persist Among Employers in Aginsk District

In the eastern region of Zabaykalsky Krai, authorities are taking action against employers breaking labor laws, as they strive to address the region's high unemployment rate.

According to analysts at RIA Novosti, Zabaykalsky Krai has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. In an effort to improve this situation, regional authorities have announced plans to halve the unemployment rate by the end of 2030. However, specific policies, programs, or initiatives related to unemployment reduction in Zabaykalsky Krai have not been detailed in the available information.

Recent actions by the State Labor Inspectorate of Zabaykalsky Krai have seen fines totalling 20,000 rubles imposed on employers found guilty of administrative offenses. These offenses include evading the conclusion of employment contracts, a violation under Part 4 of Article 5.27 of the RF CoA.

The Prosecutor's Office of Aginsky District has also discovered that some individual entrepreneurs in the catering and retail sectors have violated labor laws. Six employees of these entrepreneurs were found to have not been timely established in employment relationships, resulting in the deprivation of legal guarantees for these workers. Following the prosecutor's intervention, employment relationships with the workers were properly established.

Representations were issued to the violators, urging them to comply with the law and ensure that all employees are properly registered for pension formation. The employers were reminded of their responsibility to transmit necessary data for pension formation, a crucial aspect of the Russian labor system.

While these actions address instances of labor law violations, they do not directly address the underlying cause of Zabaykalsky Krai's high unemployment rate. For a comprehensive understanding of the region's strategies to reduce unemployment, further research into official regional government or labor department sources is recommended.
