The communications group Next15 is in discussions to acquire the British part of Engine Group, but as of late July 2025, no confirmed sale has been publicly announced. The potential sale, which has been ongoing for several months, is being managed by bank Lazards, appointed by the owners of Engine Group, Lake Capital.

According to reports, Next15 is interested in purchasing only the UK sector of Engine Group, with an asking price around £100 million. However, the prices for the US and APAC sections have not been disclosed. The sale of Engine Group's US side is still under discussion.

The future of Engine Group's APAC section remains uncertain if both the US and UK sides are sold separately. Adweek has spoken to four sources with knowledge of the deal, with Sky News first reporting about the potential sale.

It is understood that the sale of Engine Group's UK business will be confirmed before the end of February. Previously, Next15 and a senior executive at the company, Jonathan Peachey, were involved in selling a business with Engine Group, but no specific details about a sale of the UK sector to Next15 have been mentioned.

As always, for the most up-to-date and detailed status about this transaction, it is recommended to check direct company releases from Next15 or Engine Group, or reliable financial news beyond what is currently indexed.

The British industry of Engine Group, owned by Lake Capital, is potentially being sold to Next15 for a reported £100 million, while the prices for the US and APAC sectors remain undisclosed, with the US side still under discussion. The finance department of bank Lazards is managing the sale.
