VECV Reports Mixed September Sales, Exports Surge Driving FYTD Growth

VECV, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reported mixed sales figures for September 2025. While domestic sales dipped, exports surged, driving overall growth for the fiscal year-to-date.

VECV's domestic sales in September 2025 saw a decline of 2.8% to 6,652 units. However, exports showed a significant increase of 47.4% to 700 units. The Light-Medium-Duty (LMD) trucks segment performed well, with sales up 7.2% to 3,801 units. Meanwhile, heavy-duty truck sales fell 4.3% to 1,955 units, and LMD bus sales dropped 27.3% to 801 units.

Looking at the exports, LMD truck exports increased 17.8% to 423 units, and heavy-duty truck exports surged 276.7% to 113 units. Year-to-date exports rose 40.4% to 3,259 units. The Volvo Trucks and Buses division contributed 267 units to total VECV sales of 7,619 units in September 2025. VECV's international business exports grew 47.4% to 700 units in September 2025.

For the fiscal year-to-date (April-September 2025), VECV achieved overall growth of 7.8% with total sales of 42,389 units. Despite the mixed monthly figures, VECV's year-to-date growth positions it reasonably well compared to the overall commercial vehicle industry.
