VIMCO Design Industries selects Antje Beyer as their new Key Account Manager role.
Antje Beyer has joined VIDI as Key Account Manager, bringing over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and broadcast industry to the company. Beyer's appointment was met with positive sentiment from Jürgen Jahn, Managing Director of VIDI, who highlighted Beyer's expertise, reputation, and industry network as key factors in her appointment.
Beyer's focus areas at VIDI include VIDI Network Management Software (NMS), events, and national fixed networks. She expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating her goals to deepen existing partnerships, open up new business areas, and further strengthen VIDI as an innovative and reliable partner in the field of broadcast and network solutions.
One of Beyer's first tasks will be to manage and control BMC TV's network, as VIDI has partnered with BMC TV to manage its nationwide video contribution and broadcast network. This partnership connects 23 racecourses across the UK to RaceTech's remote production hub at Raynes.
Beyer's target customers at VIDI are public and commercial broadcasters, production companies, authorities, and ministries. Before joining VIDI, Beyer spent 23 years as Key Account Manager at Media Broadcast.
At IBC 2025, VIDI will demonstrate the integration of Appear's X10 and X20 chassis into its Network Management System (VIDI NMS). The demonstration will feature a multi-vendor setup, being monitored and controlled end-to-end through the VIDI NMS. VIDI will also showcase the new staging of Richard Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde," which was mixed in Dolby Atmos, marking the first time a work of classical music was mixed in this format.
Jürgen Jahn stated that Beyer's appointment is expected to significantly contribute to strengthening VIDI's market presence. The new staging of "Tristan und Isolde" premiered at the Bayreuth Festival on 25 July 2024 under the musical direction of Semyon Bychkov.
Despite the lack of information regarding VIDI's hiring of a Key Account Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in August 2025, it is clear that Beyer's addition to the team is a strategic move for VIDI as they continue to expand and innovate in the broadcast and network solutions industry.
