Wiener Musikverein's Renate Futterknecht Keeps Commercial Director Role Until 2031

Renate Futterknecht, the commercial director of the prestigious Wiener Musikverein, has had her contract extended. She will continue to lead the institution alongside Intendant Stephan Pauly until 2031.

Futterknecht took over the role in March 2021, bringing her expertise to manage the economic affairs of the renowned concert hall. Her responsibilities include overseeing finance, administration, building management, IT, and legal matters. Despite her significant impact, little is known about her professional background before this appointment, as available public sources remain scarce.

With her contract extended until February 2031, Futterknecht will continue to play a crucial role in the Vienna Musikverein's operations, working alongside Pauly to ensure its smooth functioning and continued success.
