Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for processing credit applications, assessing creditworthiness, and entering data into banking systems. You will liaise with internal departments and external parties to clarify details or request additional information. Your duties will also include preparing and maintaining credit documentation, supporting loan officers, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and bank policies.
Additionally, you will be required to handle unsecured and secured credit commitments, evaluate and realize collateral, carry out enforcement of immovable and movable assets, and participate in court hearings. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement processing strategies, conduct negotiations with debtors and third parties, and process and accompany insolvency proceedings.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have completed vocational training in banking (Bankkaufmann/-frau) or equivalent. Experience in credit processing or a related banking area is preferred.
Key skills required include good knowledge of credit products and procedures, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, proficiency in banking software and MS Office applications, and good communication skills in German (spoken and written).
Candidates should also possess a confident manner, excellent negotiation skills, particularly in difficult conversation situations. A high degree of initiative, resilience, and teamwork are essential, as is a self-motivated and precise working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
