Wrangler Drops Barbie-Themed Collection: Western Style Meets Iconic Hot Pink
Wrangler, owned by Kontoor Brands, is set to launch a Barbie-themed capsule collection. The 40-piece range, priced between $24 and $140, will be available online and at select retail stores.
The collection, a result of Wrangler's latest collaboration with Mattel, follows previous partnerships with brands like Staud and Sandro. It includes a mix of tops, tees, jeans, and dresses in bright colors and western-inspired prints. Denim items are available in women's and girls' sizes, featuring Barbie's signature hot pink color.
Wrangler, known for its jeans, is one of Kontoor Brands' key labels. Kontoor, which separated from VF Corp. in 2019, also owns the Lee brand. In the second quarter, Kontoor reported $616 million in revenue, with Wrangler contributing $425 million.
The Wrangler X Barbie collection will hit shelves and Wrangler's website soon. Fans can expect a mix of western style and Barbie's iconic hot pink, with prices ranging from affordable to mid-range. This collaboration is another step in Wrangler's strategy to expand its appeal and reach new audiences.
