Yakutskenergo Bolsters Western Electric Grid for Winter
Energy workers at PJSC 'Yakutskenergo' are preparing for the autumn-winter season, focusing on bolstering the reliability of the Western Electric Grid. Key tasks involve replacing towers and upgrading power lines to mitigate potential power supply disruptions.
In the Lensky District, specialists have already swapped out 41 P-shaped towers on the 110 kV 'Dorozhnaya - Gorodskaya' line. This upgrade aims to enhance reliability for consumers in Severnaya Nuy, Chamchi, Orto-Nakhary, Dorozhny, Zarya, and Tas-Yuryakh. Additionally, 136 towers and 12.6 km of SIW have been installed on 0.4-10 kV distribution networks in Lensky, Vitim, and Peleduy.
Looking forward, 42 more towers are slated to be replaced by the end of the year. Crews from Viluysky, Verkhneviluysky, Suntarsky, and Nyurbinsky RES will travel to Yakutsk and Neryungri regions to perform this work on the same 110 kV line.
These proactive measures by 'Yakutskenergo' are designed to reinforce the energy system against the harsh winter conditions, ensuring a steady power supply for residents and businesses in the Lensky District.
