Ziesarer Landstraße Now Safer: New Crossing & Accessible Bus Stops Completed Early
Ziesarer Landstraße near the Netto market now boasts improved safety features. A well-lit, barrier-free pedestrian crossing and two accessible bus stops have been completed, two months ahead of schedule.
The project, funded mostly by Land Brandenburg, cost around 500,000 euros. It was overseen by Christian Fuß, the head of the civil engineering office. The crossing is now well-marked and lit, while the bus stops feature tactile elements, transparent waiting halls, and a ramp for easy access from the pedestrian and cycle path.
The early completion of the project has been praised. It aims to enhance traffic safety and improve public transport conditions.
The improvements on Ziesarer Landstraße are set to benefit pedestrians and public transport users. The project's early completion and the inclusion of accessible features demonstrate a commitment to safety and inclusivity.
